Dorian Bybee

Indiana Studies 2022: Bloomington UnBound

Dorian Bybee is an architectural designer based in Bloomington, Indiana. Prior to joining the faculty at Indiana University, he worked for nearly a decade at a variety of world class Architectural offices in New York, Los Angeles, and Beijing. These included; Architectonics in New York City, Griffin Enright Architects in Los Angeles, and Zaha Hadid Architects and Graft Architects in Beijing. His professional experience has included healthcare projects, schools, high end residential work, and large scale mixed use projects, and most recently has focused on R&D and cutting edge digital fabrication utilizing Indiana limestone. Dorian has previously taught at OTIS College of Design in Los Angeles, and as an Adjunct Lecturer at Indiana University. As a Visiting Lecturer in the Interior Design program, Dorian teaches core studios and Professional Practice.
